Thank
you to all who have given of their time, talents and treasures, "for
it is in giving that we receive." The journey
continues and we need your help and support. The upcoming
fundraising events for St. Francis of Assisi for the year 2006-2007
are:
Wrapping
Paper and Candy Sales, held
in September with delivery of the product in late November. 
Book
Fair, held
twice a year, to benefit our school library.  Our Fall Book Fair is scheduled for October. Teachers will be providing wish lists and interested parents
can help complete their child’s classroom library. Spring
Fair is generally March - April. Contact Becky
Spears/Nicole Murrieta.
 Golf
Tournament, Golf Classic typically held at the Yorba Linda Country Club in
November. Golf at it’s finest!! Each year has a fun theme and
includes a
reception, dinner, live auction, golf awards, casino
style gaming and prize awards. Numerous sponsorship opportunities
are available.
  Spring
Auction
held in May. The Auction has many wonderful gift items, such as trips, projects
made by the students and sports memorabilia. Please
plan on attending. This
is a wonderful social event for all the families of St.
Francis. Relatives
and parishioners are very welcome and encouraged to attend. Look
for more information and updates in an exclusive area on
the website as the event nears!
 Major Contributions
Campaign, St.
Francis has always been blessed with generous benefactors. And,
our major contributions campaign is ongoing. For information,
questions, or to make a contribution, please contact Sonja
Gibson.
 Scrip Program
St.
Francis has a very dynamic Scrip program which currently consists of
three major parts eScrip, Paper Scrip, and SchoolCash. Each of these
are described below. St. Francis parents have a mandatory $200 participation
requirement per school year and family. For more information on Scrip
please contact Susan Dominquez.
- The eScrip Program
which is a paper-free scrip program. Register your Pavilions,
VonsClub and/or Ralph’s card and every time you swipe your card,
St. Francis will receive a credit. Registration forms are available
at Vons and Pavilions or in the school office. Visit eScrip's
site at www.escrip.com for a complete list of the
many merchants participating in this program.
- The Paper
Scrip Program consists of an impressive
inventory of local and national merchants. Details are
available on our Scrip page. Some merchants are carried “in-stock” and
can be purchased at the bi-weekly Scrip table set up
every
other
Thursday
in front of the
school.
- School
Cash or www.schoolcash.com is
a new Internet fundraiser. Simply go to www.schoolcash.com, select St. Francis
of Assisi as the school you wish to support, and start shopping
from over 100 online retailers. Our school can receive
up to 20% of the purchases made.
